Well, its been a while since I´ve written anything on here. I left Guayaquil Tuesday morning for Cuenca. It was a five hour bus ride, pretty much uphill the whole way. Cuenca is everything that Guayaquil isn't: a clean safe attractive old colonial city way up high in the mountains. I spent most of my time there exploring the city. At one point I hiked up what seemed like 500,000 steps to a nice lookout. I also took a side trip to Ingapirca, an Inca archeological site with some nice hiking oppurtunities.

Wow, the first pic looks so much like twin peaks in SF it's freaky. Even the main strip goes the same direction as Market Street. It looks much warmer than Twin Peaks, thank goodness. This expirence known as life is wild, huh? One minute you are in my hospital room in California, then were sitting in my mom's driveway in maryland and now I see you in South America, well there is a picture of you in this flat, black thing on my mom's desk and I am assuming it's South america. What a trip:-)
